Christina Gaalswyk  OTR/L, MCT

Christina is a pediatric occupational therapist with a passion for enriching children’s lives. She received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington in 2012. She has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, behavioral and neurological disorders, developmental delay, dyspraxia, and feeding challenges.

Christina has worked as an OT providing early intervention services to children between birth and three, focusing on a multi-disciplinary approach and family centered care where each child’s treatment is specific to the child’s strengths, challenges, and personality. She has also worked with school-aged children in the clinic and school settings. Most recently, she volunteered in Kenya, teaching Kenyan therapists pediatric specific modalities in their inpatient ward and their outpatient developmental clinic.

Advanced coursework includes: DIR Training (Developmental Individual-Difference Relationship-Based Model), Integrated Listening Systems, and Handwriting Without Tears.
